Supplies:

  • Black construction paper (or any dark-colored paper)

  • White tempera paint

  • Green tempera paint

  • Bubble wrap

  • Scissors

  • Paintbrush

  • Paper plate or palette for paint

Directions:

  • Paint the Stems: Place a dollop of green paint on your plate.
Use your paintbrush to paint 1–4 dandelion stems and leaves on the black construction paper. Let them dry slightly.

  • Prepare the Bubble Wrap: Cut a circle out of bubble wrap. This will be your stamp for the dandelion puffballs.

  • Create the Puffballs: Squeeze a bit of white paint onto your plate.
Paint the bumpy side of the bubble wrap circle with a thin, even coat of white paint. Gently press the painted bubble wrap above each stem. Lift to reveal the dandelion seed head texture! Repeat for each stem, adding puffballs where needed.

  • Let Dry and Display!
